Our last lunch potluck was a success, and our next one will be February 7. For that potluck we will be trying something new, and sending out a signup email. Please be looking for that in the end of January. We will not be having a breakfast potluck this weekend.

We are still having our monthly lunch potluck tomorrow, even though we will also be celebrating Thanksgiving after church in two weeks. We hope to see you at both events!

Yesterday morning Lucas presented a message about explaining to critics and non-believers why God may allow bad things to happen. Later in the service, during our prayer requests, Amy shared a praise that John may be getting through to two non-beliving friends, and requested wisdom for him to continue to have the right things to say. Later in the day, John had a an opportunity to have another conversation with a third non-believing friend, dealing with grief, as the morning's sermon covered. God is working and His plan is unfolding right in front of us!

This Sabbath is a breakfast potluck! 9:45 we gather, pray, fellowship, eat and stuff our mouths trying not to be late to the class. So, if you are going to enjoy the fellowship, please let’s be ready to begin eating at 9:45.

It's Pastor Appreciation Month, and so this past Sabbath after our potluck, we honored the men who serve as pastors and elders in our church with an ice cream sundae bar. Thank you for your leadership!
